​Kumar Ashish has joined Aditya Birla Finance Ltd as Head – Retail, Consumer and Micro-business (RCMB). An industry veteran with over 27 years of experience, Kumar Ashish has handled diverse portfolios in banking and finance industry including Business Loans, Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Vehicle Loans, Mortgage Loans, Rural and Agri Loans, Digital Lending, SME & Trade Finance and Retail Banking.  At ABFL, his role includes providing strategic direction to the RCMB businesses and building it to be a momentous player in the industry. He will look to grow profitably and improving revenue per customer in line with the overall ABFL strategy.

 Prior to joining us, Kumar Ashish was working with Bandhan Bank in the capacity of President & Head - Microfinance, Business & Personal Loans, Micro Home Loans, Two-Wheeler Loans & Micro Banking. In his previous assignments, he has worked as Group Director- Airtel Money for Airtel Africa PLC and as SGM & Retail Business Head for ICICI Bank.

Kumar Ashish is an MMS from Welingkar Institute of Management, University of Mumbai, and has a BA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Delhi
