Devang Rawal is Head - Corporate & Institutional of Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. In this role, Devang will have the collective responsibility for Corporate & Institutional businesses such as Capital Market, Construction Finance, Structured Finance, Supply Chain and the Treasury Investment Desk.

Devang joined ABFL in 2015 as Executive Vice President & Head – Corporate Finance where he was responsible for the growth of the corporate finance division and for developing strong processes, products, sales teams and channels for the NBFC.

Prior to his stint at ABFL, Devang used to lead the mid-market/SME business at YES Bank with sanctioned exposures of over USD 2 bn., which was spread over 20 locations in the country, with 200 dedicated personnel across 1,500 relationships. His scope of work included granular acquisition of clients, deepening of the relationships through cross sell, conservative management of capital, leveraging the existing clientele for retail businesses such as insurance, private banking and personal lending etc.

Devang started his banking career with ANZ Grindlays Bank. In a career spanning more than 20+ years, Devang has managed a large cross section of businesses/clienteles. His initial stint with various multi-national banks revolved around managing global and large local corporates providing a gamut of cross-sell opportunities including cross border funding, treasury and trade.

Devang Rawal is a commerce graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and economics. He joined C C Chokshi & Co (now Deloitte) while graduating from both The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India as well as The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
